Fawkes & Reece existing premises had inadequate desk space and not much room for movement. They required a modern workplace that suited their fast-paced culture, and an environment that was open-plan and engaging. It needed to facilitate some key areas in their new design and fit out; a relaxing breakout space, private discussions when needed, and room for future expansion.
The Fawkes and Reece offices now present a modern and vibrant feel as soon as the lift doors open. You are greeted in reception with the personalised square logo signage that has been illuminated to make a statement. Connected to reception is the boardroom, as well as a few smaller meeting rooms. This has created a more private, quiet area which also streamlines the process for external candidate interviews. Following this, the main desk space is as open-plan as possible to maintain the energetic buzz of a recruitment office. The breakout space is just as attractive, with a modern but rustic feel to the teapoint and lounge area. By creating a coffee shop ambience, this area can accommodate lunch as well as informal meetings. Black panels create a divide to the breakout area, which allow for visibility of the main office whilst still keeping some separation. Finally, a key point to the office is the gaming room. This space feels more like home than a workspace, which enables employees to relax and unwind in front of the large screen with sporting memorabilia on the walls.
Woodhouse's tender was comprehensive. Pre-construction was excellent. Woodhouse delivered a 10/10 project and I would be happy to recommend them.
