Netcel found themselves in the increasingly common scenario of having to move location after their current office was earmarked for residential development. This meant that a swift move with minimum disruption to day-to-day activity was necessary for the firm, operating in a fast paced and dynamic industry.
Despite the difficulties this posed, the interruption provided the opportunity to rejuvenate and futureproof the company with a modern, efficient and fit for purpose workspace to help see Netcel through their next phase of growth and development.
After securing the new location of their future office, Netcel and Woodhouse worked together in a series of detailed client briefings and in-depth design workshops with senior management. This helped both sides determine and understand the key objectives of the workspace project, and also what success meant to the company, its employees, senior staff and other key stakeholders.
Woodhouse proposed a design that ticked all the boxes, and a dedicated team set to work on-site, creating a professional, comfortable, bright and agile workspace.
Taking cues from the brief and exploiting the new office shape and orientation, the reinvigorated Netcel accommodation included glass partitioning creating a light and open environment. Whiteboard walls were spaced strategically throughout the space to inspire collaborative and creative working and to encourage employees to get away from their desks and inspire new, more productive ways of working.
The Woodhouse fitout enabled Netcel to switch to a more eco-friendly, paperless way of working by providing staff with lockers instead of desk pedestals. The open and welcoming design has encouraged increased productivity from current workers and improved staff retention and recruitment efforts for the organisation. Netcel appointed Woodhouse following a competitive pitch. They were not the cheapest, but most definitely presented the best vision for Netcel's new office space in St Albans. The quality of the fitout matched the quality we saw in their pitch. Excellent advice, great use of space, tight project management and fantastic results. I am happy to recommend them.
