We kicked off December in fine style with our inaugural ‘Ladies in Proper-Tea’ afternoon. It has been a tough couple of years, and we thought it would be a well-deserved treat for the hard-working women that we know in the property industry if they were invited to the best place to have some tea and cake. The event was in aid of the ovarian cancer charity, Ovacome, and we raised over £700, thanks to the generosity of our delightful guests.
Guest speaker Annalie Howling, Business and Life Coach at Incasa Consulting, gave a stirring talk on celebrating what we have achieved in 2021 and setting empowering goals for 2022. Too often we focus on what we haven’t done or what we need to do, and we forget to reflect on what we have actually achieved, despite everything that has happened in recent times! Annalie encouraged everyone to consider things they would happily leave behind after the pandemic, and things they will learn from and take forward.
Our Business Development Director, Inesha Holt, led the event: “It was just fabulous to get together and network with like-minded women and share ideas and experiences. We really enjoyed being able to mingle in such a supportive environment, meeting old contacts, making introductions and welcoming those new to property.”
Thanks to everyone involved for making this such an energising and successful event, thoroughly enjoyed by all. We are also delighted to have raised over £700 for such a worthwhile charity as Ovacome.
