Marketing Manager

Working with the Marketing Director and Central Services Director you will be responsible for helping direct strategy, plan and execute effective marketing strategies to meet the agreed company objectives. You will evaluate customer research, market conditions, competitor data making recommendations on marketing plan adjustments. You will be assisting with campaign development, analysing the effectiveness of each campaign and developing our lead generation programs including Social Media, promotional materials, marketing and advertising copy. As such you are playing a crucial role in building and engaging the company’s target audience and clients, creating effective strategies that will promote the long-term growth of our firm.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that brand experience matches the brand positioning
  • Identify new target market opportunities
  • Work with the Business Development to explore target customer needs and insights
  • Plan and implement lead generation campaigns and ensure effective and efficient delivery across all channels employed; including traditional, digital and social; creating and publishing marketing material in line with marketing plan
  • Plan and develop social media strategies and campaign activity across different platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook), maximising our Social Media capabilities
  • Coordinate and oversee all PPC campaign activity
  • Bring forward fresh SEO ideas, maximising organic and Social SEO to reduce the reliance upon PPC
  • Plan, write and create segmented fortnightly email marketing and automated marketing campaigns using existing templates and broadcast via the current email platform
  • Manage our website content and branding via the CMS; including updating the company blog with fresh content each week, curating news updates and the content to be shared through multiple channels
  • Use Email Marketing analytics, Google Analytics and Lead Forensics to identify warm qualified leads to forward to the Business Development Team
  • Manage and coordinate a rolling twelve-month calendar of marketing activities and promotional events; including PR and business development events, project photo-shoots and testimonial videos
  • Manage the marketing budget ensuring spend levels do not exceed budget
  • Analyse the results of all marketing activity, adjusting marketing activities as needed in response to data tracking efforts and presenting a monthly marketing report with findings and recommendations to senior management
  • Undertake a bi-annual competitor review; including market trends, pricing schedules, competitor offerings, product specifications, and demographic data
  • Work with and manage agency partners ensuring services employed support the objectives of the marketing plan, including that their creative teams come up with different and attractive branding ideas, advertising copy, graphic designs, and promotional materials
  • Work with the Business Development and Sales Team to provide marketing support to front line activities in an integrated brand manner; client presentation and pitch documents
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives
  • Acts as a go-to resource for up-to-date, accurate research and market information

  • Marketing Calendar is up to date

  • Increase Website Conversion by 10%
  • Improve Email Marketing open and click through rate by 10%
  • Reducing the Cost of Customer Acquisition (COCA) by 10%

Qualifications and Skills – Mandatory / Desirable / Proficiency Level

  • Relevant degree or qualified chartered marketer
  • Five years’ marketing experience
  • Property experience preferred
  • Proven knowledge and working proficiency of Adobe InDesign with preference for candidates who have graphics skills across the full Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and listening skills along with good presentation skills
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft programs to obtain, process & combine information (particularly the internet, Excel, Word and Outlook).
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Experience in working with outsourced design agencies
  • Hands-on experience of planning and executing marketing campaigns across a range of channels both online and offline
  • Excellent digital and social media skills
  • Copywriting and content creation experience
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively with a broad range of internal and external resources and stakeholders
